Outreach

Slater Family Network, is a local foundation that helps local families in need.  Occasionally during the year POP reaches out to this worthwhile program.  By providing a donation of money or items, we try and give support to this local resource.  If you would like to enhance this program through participation, please call the church office at 610-588-2355, or contact SFN directly.  The Slater Family Network Foundation is a non-profit family center.  Their service is a free , and strictly confidential to all residents of the Bangor Area School District. By utilizing grants, community and school district funding, SFN provides resources, referrals, advocacy and select programs to those in need.

Coupons for the Troops

If you use coupons and find that you have extras, feel free to donate them for the troops.  Military families can use coupons 6 months past the expiration date.  The only thing I ask is that they come TRIMMED.  It saves me time and I can mail them out faster.  If you would like to donate money to help with the postage, you may do that too.  They are being mailed out once a month.  You can place them in the Narthex.  Thanks to all who participate!

As of May 27, 2015: $35,154.00 has been sent to a military base in Illesheim, Germany.  The coupons are clipped and donated by our members.
