Stewardship is the grateful offering of all that we have and all that we are to God's service.
We trust that everything is the gift of a loving and generous God.
The gifts we return to the church can be a sign of both God's grateful offering to us and our trust in God.
"that God has created me and all that exists…God daily and abundantly provides…all the necessities and nourishment for this body and life…out of pure, fatherly, and divine goodness and mercy, without any merit or worthiness of mine at all!” It is in this relationship that we recognize that God has abundantly providedus with all that we need. Living in that abundance we give of the blessings we have received. The seeds of God's love grow through us using our gifts of time, talent and financial resources. Using our abilities,we are called to manage what is HIS.
Please read the following passage as a personal letter from God through Paul to you:
2 Corinthians 9:6-9 (CAV) "Remember that the person who sows few seeds will have a small crop; the one who sows many seeds will have a large crop. You should each give, then, as you have decided, not with regret or out of a sense of duty; for God loves the one who gives gladly. And God is able to give you more than you need, so that you will always have all you need for yourselves and more than enough for every good cause.  As the scripture says: "He gives generously to the needy; his kindness lasts forever."
At Prince of Peace our faith- based emphasis is on biblical stewardship. We believe that everything belongs to God and his blessings are abundantly given to us to use and share.
