Born was Prince of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church,
through the metamorphosis of the people’s needs.
It all began with a search,
as to how a house of worship succeeds.
Plant the foliage and they will come,
much like butterfly eggs are laid.
Transforming simple things can become,
the glory through which the wine He made.
A larva feasts on leaves to grow,
like the caterpillar and church that would be created.
And as the nourishment was just so,
layers of troubles soon had faded.
And soon we became enlightened,
to the words that became alive in us.
As the Chrysalis soon brightened,
we began to hear His promises that we would trust.
Some rejected the changes that were transpiring,
but the butterfly was now full grown.
It was life that Christ was bringing,
as we grew into our own.
Miraculously, Jesus had spoken,
to a growing crowd.
The fisherman thought their nets were broken,
shortly there were fish aplenty just as He had vowed.
The parishioners soon would gather,
as the butterfly would take to flight.
The love of this was a transformation rather,
that all of us would see His light.
A new church had brought hope and life,
this was truly an inspiration.
There would be positivity and no strife,
but a growing congregation.
